This Honkaku (simply distilled) potato shochu is a blend of two spirits: one is made from Miyazaki Kogane-Sengan potatoes cultivated by the “green manure” method, fermented with black koji obtained from domestically produced rice; the other is made from Murasaki Masari potatoes produced in the same way and fermented with white koji.
